Richard ‘Rick’ Weston FCLS is our agency’s founder and Special Investigator in Charge. Mr. Weston’s investigative career began during his service in the United States Navy, where he gained priceless experience in covert intelligence-gathering. Following his honorable discharge, Mr. Weston left to continue his career as a private investigator. For the last three decades, he has completed complex surveillance investigations around the globe focused exclusively on defending the world’s leading high-risk self-insured Fortune 500 companies, global insurance carriers and top-tier defense firms against fraud and deception on their high exposure losses.
In addition to his years as a private investigator, Mr. Weston’s passion for investigative excellence and knowledge of the insurance industry led him to join the Elite Special Investigation Unit (SIU) of American International Group (AIG) and Zurich North America (ZNA) as the Special Investigator in Charge of South Florida. He earned the prestigious industry designation of Fraud Claims Law Specialist and was responsible for directing, investigating, and identifying fraud and deception on multi-million dollar exposures.
For decades, Mr. Weston has remained committed to his craft and continues to direct the collection, analysis, and dissemination of every assignment we take on. His investigations have been instrumental in prosecuting numerous fraud cases at the local, state, and federal levels. In addition to his speaking engagements and educational programs, he remains actively involved in the agency’s day-to-day operations. He dedicates significant time to authoring fraud plans for Fortune 500 clients domestically and abroad.
